A Sensible Approach to Endoscopic Spine
The dualPortal® solution is a novel two-portal endoscopic approach to the spine that allows surgeons to easily learn and perform a wider array of lumbar spine procedures than with the conventional one-portal technique.
dualPortal® is a versatile and powerful technique in which the decoupling of the endoscopic camera from the surgical instruments allows for greater flexibility and enhanced visualization of the spinal anatomy. It also provides flexibility to perform endoscopic lumbar fusions with the dualX®Slim Dual Expanding Interbody Fusion System.
Complete set of patented access and decompression instruments, developed interdependently with the dualPortal® surgical technique by the leading physicians and researchers in South Korea. Coupling proprietary instrumentation with the unique endoscopic approach, this groundbreaking system enables surgeons to perform reproducible, safe and powerful surgeries with great clinical outcomes.
Ideal for both inpatient and outpatient settings, the dualPortal® Access System leverages readily available equipment to address a wide variety of lumbar pathologies.

I was really blown away by the ability to do that complete decompression and do a fusion through a tiny incision and I saw a big difference in my patients. They're getting up faster. I had patients that went home less than 12 hours in the hospital which was unfathomable. I mean the most patients that get TLIF, on average stay 3 to 5 days maybe a week in the hospital with a lot of narcotic medications. They're not mobilizing so they get complications. The wound complication is a big deal. I just haven't seen any of that with the dualPortal® technique.
